History
It was in 1952 when Alfredo Benet Domingo, founder of Lanco Toys, decided to shape his unconditional love for childhood and animals using his infinite imagination. Since then, Lanco Toys has been delivering happiness and fantasy to this world year after year. Our passion for what we do and our constant drive to innovate and improve our products have rewarded us withmore than 70 years of wonderful experiences and enjoyment. Take a quick look at our timeline!

Lanco Toys Foundation
In the context of the industrial boom in Catalonia, businessman Alfredo Benet founded Lanco Toys: the first company in the world to produce 100% latex items. The company's innovative designs will quickly start to win over customers in the Spanish market. The items are handcrafted in Spain with top quality latex imported from Malaysia. Learning and improving oneself is part of the identity of Lanco Toys and its founder, the methodology and the experience are perfected day by day.

International expansion
With a consolidated methodology and a solid position in the Spanish market, Lanco Toys begins its international expansion as the first Spanish company to attend the world's leading Spielwarenmesse toy fair in Nuremberg, Germany.

Competitive landscape
Given the relevant success of Lanco Toys products and the good response of the market, several Spanish companies began to produce similar products made with latex. This competitive landscape will force Lanco Toys to constantly improve its production methodology and develop cutting-edge designs. Currently Lanco Toys is the only one that still exists in the Spanish market.

The adventure of Morocco
The adventure begins with a modest industrial unit in Fez, Morocco. Lanco Toys will work hard to transfer all latex handling knowledge to the new factory, to train new employees, and to preserve the quality standards that define our products.

The emerging paradigm of the toy industry
During the 90s, the European toy market underwent a change without return: new Asian producers began to sell on the European market at extremely competitive prices. Faced with this challenge, Morocco's rich culture of painting and ceramics will make the country attractive to be part of our handmade toy production process. In 2003, part of the Lanco Toys production process took place in Fez, Morocco.

Expedition to new horizons
Once the new Lanco structure is consolidated, our energy is focused on continuing to innovate our designs and exploring new products and materials. Along these lines, Lanco Toys launches a new range of products made up of the soaps that our toys contain. This new product line is inspired by the arts seen in MoMa, New York, USA.

Strengthening our global position
During these years, Lanco Toys has concentrated its efforts on strengthening its new customer network and image from a global perspective. Thus, we will attend various fairs such as Bologna, Paris, Milan or Cologne that end up strengthening our relationships with highly relevant clients on the international scene.
